Getting To and From Lamont By Public Transportation

The Red and Tan Lines, also known as Rockland Coaches, operate between New York City, northern New Jersey, and Rockland County.  The 9/9A routes operate near Lamont. Schedules are available online at the Rockland Coaches website or call 201-384-2400 or 914-356-0877.

#9A - operates hourly between the George Washington Bridge bus station in New York and Rockland County. It stops on request at Lamont's front entrance. The southbound service from Lamont follows Rt 9W (about 30 minutes) and arrives in the bus station at W 178 St and Ft Washington Ave, where you may connect with the New York City transit system. The northbound service from Lamont operates through Tappan, Sparkill, Piermont, Nyack, Congers, and New City. Alternatively, the Transport of Rockland buses (phone:914-634-110), operate within Rockland County, where Lamont is situated. You can connect to TOR buses from the Red and Tan routes.
