Managing Competing Water Uses in the Philippines: Angat Reservoir - ID:95


Project Description

The demonstration of improvements in managing climate risks in the context of water management, through tool development, capacity building of key sectoral agencies and the national meteorological service.


Goals and Objectives

Goal: With government and other stakeholders, improve management of the Angat Reservoir system in the Philippines; improve water efficiency and allocation schemes
Project objectives: (1) Develop and test decision support tools; (2) improve understanding of institutional relationships to ensure viability of CRM strategies; and (3) improve capacity of local stakeholders to ensure sustainability of CRM strategies.
